Emily A. Herbick graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2015. During law school, she was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society where she won the best brief award and finished as a semi-finalist in the National Health Law Moot Court Competition. She was awarded the CALI Award for Highest Grade in Legal Writing I, Legal Writing II, and Trial Advocacy I. She was an extern to Justice Terrence Lavin in the First District Appellate Court of Illinois and worked as a law clerk at Clifford Law Offices focusing on medical malpractice litigation. After law school, Emily worked as an attorney at Heineke & Burke, LLC focusing on personal injury and insurance defense litigation. Emily now focuses on medical malpractice and personal injury litigation on behalf of injured clients as an attorney at Barney & Karamanis, LLP.
