Ouyeinc v. Individuals, Partnerships, And Unincorporated Associations On Schedule “A,”

Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois Case No. 20 cv 3491 (Trademark)

(Walmart, Inc., DHGate, Alibaba Group, Joom Stores Defendants)

 ATTENTION:  Any and all Defendants operating the internet stores listed in Schedule “A” to the Amended Complaints attached below are hereby advised:

Plaintiff has charged each of the Defendants listed in the Schedule “A’s” with violations of United States federal and state laws prohibiting trademark infringement, patent infringement, and counterfeiting.  The Judges in the aforementioned cases in the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois have found that Plaintiff has a likelihood of success on the merits of each case and entered temporary restraining orders against Defendants.

Any answer or other response to the Complaint should be filed with the Clerk of the Court, United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division, Chicago, Illinois within twenty-one (21) days from July 20, 2020. If no appearance or pleading is filed, the Court may enter default judgments against the Defendants.

 Defendants are advised to seek U.S. legal counsel.

  • $6.3 Million

    $6.3 million-dollar verdict was achieved on behalf of Estate of 71-year old woman who was sexually assaulted, strangled and killed in the basement of a south shore apartment building that was being renovated by a construction worker hired by the building owner.

  • $2.1 Million

    $2.1 Million settlement for 46-year old decedent/plaintiff. Plaintiff/decedent presented to an emergency room with complaints of chest pain along with shortness of breath, fever and sore throat.

  • $2.0 Million

    $2.0 Million-dollar settlement prior to trial. A confidentiality agreement was entered into as part of the settlement.

  • $1.5 Million

    $1.5 Million settlement for 52-year old decedent/plaintiff. Plaintiff/decedent presented to Hospital for treatment of diabetic foot infection and was admitted.
